Mark is the founder of The Powderhorn Outfitters and has served as president of the business continually since 1978.

He has been an NRA Instructor since 1984 and has taught handgun safety to hundreds of our customers. Mark has also run the "Juniors Program" at The Bass River Rod & Gun Club since 1985.

He has been an avid hunter since 1960 and has participated in pistol competitions since 1970 and while in the Air Force. He has shot IPSC, PPC, Falling Plate Events, DCM Matches, 600 yard High Power Rifle competitions, and also shoots skeet.

In 1998, he received the Bob Vanni Award from GOAL for Most Politically Active Gun Dealer in Massachusetts.

Meet Dave Tomasek

You will usually find him behind the counter in the Firearms and Hunting Department lending his extensive experience and expertise to a gun owner in the store or providing friendly customer service to a customer on the phone.
The Powderhorn Outfitters has 3 Gunsmiths available for all your gun repairs. We mount and boresight scopes on premises.
Be sure to think of The Powderhorn Outfitters for all your gun storage needs. We have safe, secure vault space available for short and long term storage.
